The gorgeous bright colors and incredible designs this season remind us again why we adore Catimini.  Each season the designers develop the most stunning looks for the little ones.

This year celebrates the 40th Anniversary of Catimini!  Some of our favorites of the season:

Dresses, Dresses and more amazing dresses! (Some designer inspirations from Catimini)

1.  The Masai Dress:  Marine, the designer of this dress wanted to evoke feelings of a faraway adventure, with modern geometric patterns and a safari feeling to the Masia Tribes.  

2.  The Exotic Dress:   Pascale designed this dress with florals and animal prints in the shade of blue.  The full dress falls from narrow straps for a great twirl and a hint of sparkle with the gold braided trim.

3.  The Picnic Dress:  With a fresh country feel, Christine designed this dress with thoughts of the height of summer!  It is a gorgeous white dress with colorful details and a great ruffle!

4.  The Watercolour Dress:  Again designed by Christine, the techniques of watercolor were her inspiration, with colorful embroidered detail and a butterfly sleeve.

Appaman Children's Clothing - at Nicole's for Children Summer 2012

Appaman is inspired by, and named after, the childhood companion of founder and designer Harald Husum. While growing up in Norway, Husum befriended a corduroy ape named Appaman. Together they traveled the fields and fjords of their native land, sharing many fantastic adventures. Appaman reflects the whimsical spirit of those youthful times and celebrates the unbreakable bond between a boy and his ape. (Appaman)

Appaman has a unique Scandinavian perspective on Ameripop iconic imagery. Husum finds inspiration everyday on the mean streets of Brooklyn and translates it into his ever changing palette of vibrant garments.  (Appaman)

The new collection from Mimi & Maggie is beautiful, colorful and the girls are loving the styles!  (Mom's too)

The inspiration for the Mimi & Maggie collection is ...the little girl with laughter in her eyes, fire in her spirit, love in her heart and dance in her feet. We find inspiration in the individuality of children and their art. We honor their free spirits, joy of discovery and happiness in the simple pleasures of life.  (Mimi & Maggie).

The colors this season are bright, with great patterns and fabrics.  There are so many mix and match combinations and great pieces to dress siblings similarly, but not exact.

 We are excited to include Lofff as one of our new brands for Summer 2012.  Located and designed in the Netherlands, they develop and design based on a theme for each season.  This summer is Below the Surface of the Ocean!
